Short, clear terms.

These terms govern your use of the Nefo iOS app and its pages on metehanbicer.com, provided by Metehan Biçer, an independent developer (“the developer”). Because you get the app from the App Store, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies. These terms add to the EULA; if the two conflict, the EULA prevails.

I grant you a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Nefo for personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the app, except where the law expressly allows it. The app, its design, the light tree and its texts belong to the developer.

Nefo Plus unlocks extra features such as the craving journal and insights, a personal quit plan, savings goals, Lock Screen widgets, lung and card themes and tracking more than one product. It comes in three forms:

• Yearly subscription: starts with a 7-day free trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the yearly price is charged when the trial ends.
• Monthly subscription: renews every month.
• Lifetime: a one-time payment. It’s not a subscription and doesn’t renew; Plus features stay unlocked on the Apple Account you bought it with for as long as the app is offered.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial ends when you purchase a subscription. To bring your purchase to a new device, use “Restore purchases” on the Nefo Plus screen.

• A subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription on your iPhone under Settings › your name › Subscriptions, or in your App Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
• Deleting the app doesn’t cancel your subscription.

Current prices are shown in the App Store before you buy and may vary by country or region. If a subscription price changes, Apple will notify you in advance under its rules, and will ask for your consent where its rules require it. If you don’t accept a new price, you can cancel before your next renewal date.

All payments are collected by Apple, so Apple also handles refund requests. As the developer, I can’t issue refunds directly. To request one, go to reportaproblem.apple.com. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

Nefo is a motivation and tracking app. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. The health milestones are based on general information published by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the NHS; timings vary from person to person. Nothing in Nefo replaces the advice of a health professional.

If you use medication or nicotine replacement therapy, are pregnant, or have a heart, lung or mental health condition, talk to your doctor while you quit. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

You agree to use Nefo lawfully. Because your data is stored only on your device, keeping your device and its backups secure is your responsibility.

Nefo is provided “as is”. I can’t guarantee that the app will run without interruption or errors, that its calculations will be exact in every case, or that you will quit smoking. Calculations are based on the information you enter. Rights that the law gives you and that can’t be limited remain unaffected.

To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or lost data arising from the use of, or inability to use, Nefo. In any case, total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Nefo in the last 12 months. This limitation doesn’t affect liability for intent or gross negligence, or your rights under consumer protection law.

I may update these terms. I’ll publish changes on this page and update the effective date. If a change is significant, I’ll also point it out in the app or on this website. By continuing to use Nefo after a change, you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Türkiye have jurisdiction over disputes. If you are a consumer, this doesn’t take away the protection of mandatory consumer laws in the country where you live, or your right to bring a claim there.
