No account, no server, no tracking.

Hesaplı is developed and published by independent developer Metehan Biçer. “I” in this policy means the developer. For any privacy question, write to metehanbicer006@gmail.com.

To work, Hesaplı keeps the following only on your iPhone, in the app’s own local storage:

• Your income and expense entries: amount, category, date and any notes you add.
• Your monthly budget, category budgets and savings goals.
• If you use Hesaplı Pro: your installments, credit card cycles, recurring payments and currency and gold holdings.
• Your settings: currency, month start day, theme, reminder and lock preferences, and whether Hesaplı Pro is active.

This information does not leave your device: Hesaplı sends none of it to any server, and it never reaches me or any third party.

Hesaplı has no accounts, no sign-up and no sign-in. You don’t need to give an email address or phone number to use the app.

Hesaplı does not connect to your bank, credit card or any other financial service, and never asks for a bank password, card number or account details. You enter every record yourself.

Hesaplı contains no analytics, no ads and no advertising identifier (IDFA). There are no third-party software development kits (SDKs) in the app that collect usage data. Hesaplı does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites, so it never asks for tracking permission.

When you make a backup or export your entries as CSV or PDF (export is part of Hesaplı Pro), Hesaplı creates a file on your device. You decide where to save it and who to share it with; for example, you can save it to iCloud Drive with the Files app.

• These files can contain all of your entries. When you save them to iCloud Drive or another service, that service’s terms apply.
• Hesaplı never sends these files anywhere on its own, and I don’t receive a copy.

If you tap “Refresh rates” in the currency and gold section, Hesaplı downloads current exchange rates from ExchangeRate-API’s open service (open.er-api.com). No entries, amounts or anything that identifies you are sent with that request; only your main currency code (for example USD). As with any internet connection, the provider can see technical details such as your IP address while connecting; ExchangeRate-API’s terms and privacy policy apply to those. You type the gold price yourself; if you never refresh rates, the request is never made.

Bill reminders and other reminders are local notifications: Hesaplı schedules them directly on your iPhone. No push notification server is used, and notification content is not sent anywhere. You can turn notifications off in Hesaplı’s settings or in your iPhone’s Settings app.

If you turn on the Face ID lock (Hesaplı Pro), iOS performs the authentication. Hesaplı has no access to your face data; it only learns whether authentication succeeded.

Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets read the summary they show from a shared app space on your device (an App Group). This sharing happens only between Hesaplı and its own widgets, inside your device. Lock Screen widgets are visible while your phone is locked; if you don’t want that, don’t add them, or remove them.

Hesaplı Pro is bought through Apple’s App Store. Your payment details stay with Apple and never reach Hesaplı.

To check whether Hesaplı Pro is active, Hesaplı uses the RevenueCat service provided by RevenueCat, Inc. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated, anonymous app user ID and your App Store purchase records (such as which plan you bought and when, and trial and subscription status); these are used only to check your subscription status. Technical details needed for the service to work, such as the app version and iOS version, may also be sent. Your income and expense entries, amounts, notes and budgets are never sent to RevenueCat. As with any internet connection, RevenueCat can see technical details such as your IP address while connecting.

RevenueCat processes this information under its own privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy. RevenueCat is based in the United States; this information may be processed on servers outside your country.

All of your entries are on your device, so you are fully in control. You can delete your entries and budgets with Erase all data in Hesaplı’s Settings. Deleting Hesaplı from your iPhone also permanently removes all of its data.

• Backup and export files you saved stay where you saved them; delete them separately.
• Your iPhone backups may include app data, depending on your Apple backup settings.
• Deleting the app does not cancel a Hesaplı Pro subscription. You can cancel it in your Apple ID settings.

Hesaplı is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, children included.

This site uses no cookies, contains no analytics or advertising tools and loads its fonts from its own server; opening a page sends no requests to other companies. The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process technical connection details such as your IP address to deliver pages securely; I don’t use them for analytics or advertising.

Under Article 11 of Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed and to request information if it is; to learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used for that purpose; to know the third parties in Turkey or abroad to whom it is transferred; to ask for incomplete or incorrect data to be corrected and for data to be deleted; to ask for these actions to be notified to those third parties; to object to a result against you arising from analysis by automated systems; and to claim compensation if you suffer damage from unlawful processing.

Because Hesaplı never takes your entries, budgets or goals off your device, I don’t hold them; you can remove them at any time in the app or by deleting it. Anonymous purchase records for Hesaplı Pro are processed to verify your purchase, that is, to perform our contract, and are transferred to RevenueCat abroad for that purpose. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you have the right to access, correct and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to complain to the data protection authority where you live. Anonymous purchase records are processed because this is necessary to perform our contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). You can send requests to the same email address.

If I update this policy, I will publish the changes on this page and update the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, I will also point it out in the app or on this site.
