Short, clear terms.

These terms govern your use of the Gritcard iOS app and its pages on metehanbicer.com, provided by Metehan Biçer, an independent developer (“the developer”). Because you get the app from the App Store, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies. These terms add to the EULA; if the two conflict, the EULA prevails.

I grant you a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Gritcard on Apple devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes, within the App Store Usage Rules. Copying, modifying, reverse engineering or redistributing the app is not allowed, except where the law expressly permits it. All rights in the app, the card design, its graphics and texts belong to the developer.

Gritcard Pro unlocks extra features such as unlimited habits, the Legend tier and special foils, detailed stat history and the weekly form chart, automatic stats with Apple Health, card foil themes, Lock Screen widgets and share themes. It’s available in three ways:

• Yearly subscription: starts with a 7-day free trial, then renews every year.
• Monthly subscription: renews every month.
• Lifetime: a one-time payment, not a subscription.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. To move your purchase to a new device, use the “Restore purchases” button on the Gritcard Pro screen. The free features stay available to you whether or not you buy Pro.

The yearly subscription starts with a 7-day free trial. If you don’t cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the yearly price is charged to your Apple Account when it ends and the subscription begins. Any unused part of the trial ends if you buy another plan before the trial is over. Under Apple’s rules, a free trial may be offered only once per Apple Account.

• A subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription on your iPhone under Settings › your name › Subscriptions, or in your App Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; Pro stays on until then.
• Deleting the app doesn’t cancel your subscription.

The lifetime plan is a one-time payment. It doesn’t renew and there is no subscription to cancel. Gritcard Pro features stay unlocked on the Apple Account you bought them with for as long as the app is offered on the App Store and supported on your device.

Current prices are shown in the App Store before you buy and may vary by country or region. If a subscription price changes, you’ll be told in advance under Apple’s rules, and asked to agree to the new price where Apple’s rules require it. If you don’t accept the new price, you can cancel before the renewal date.

All payments are collected by Apple, so Apple also handles refund requests. As the developer, I can’t issue refunds directly. To request one, use reportaproblem.apple.com. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

Gritcard is a motivation and habit tool; it isn’t a medical device and doesn’t provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Stats, OVR and tiers are game points calculated from the tasks you check off; they don’t measure your health or physical performance. Step, sleep and workout information read from Apple Health is used only to check off tasks.

Suggested tasks (such as push-ups, cold showers or sleep routines) may not suit everyone. Don’t do a task that doesn’t suit your health or that feels wrong. If you have a health condition, are pregnant or are unsure before starting a new workout or sleep routine, talk to your doctor. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

You agree to use Gritcard lawfully. You’re responsible for the name you put on your card and the images you share, and you agree not to share content that is unlawful or infringes other people’s rights. Because your data is kept only on your device, keeping your device and its backups secure is your responsibility.

Gritcard is provided “as is”. I can’t guarantee that the app will run without interruption or errors, that your data will never be lost or that you’ll reach a particular result. Stats and tiers are based on the tasks you check off. Rights that the law provides and that can’t be limited are not affected.

To the extent the law allows, the developer isn’t liable for indirect damages, lost profits or lost data arising from using or being unable to use Gritcard. In any case, total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Gritcard in the last 12 months. This limitation doesn’t affect liability for intent or gross negligence, or your rights under consumer law.

I may update these terms. I’ll publish the changes on this page and update the effective date. If a change is significant, I’ll also point it out in the app or on this website. Continuing to use Gritcard after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Turkish courts and enforcement offices have jurisdiction over disputes; consumers may also apply to consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts within legal limits. Mandatory consumer protection rules of the country you live in remain unaffected.
